I’ve created a tier 11 ‘BiS’ list that’s available in the Moonkin Guide section.  This BiS list is unique, as due to reforging, we now have many different options available which are equally (or almost equally) as viable.  I’ve listed multiple items for almost every slot, with the first items listed being the most preferred.  Remember, with reforging almost anything becomes viable!

Now that the Cataclysm database has been merged with the live Wowhead database, I was able to include proper itemlinks for the new Tier 11 gear, and a “Balance Tier 11″ page can be found under “Moonkin Guides” for quick reference.

On a related note, it looks like the mastery was removed from our legs, and spirit was added instead.  (This is not like us having spirit on previous tier gear.  I’m assuming they did this to make up a lack of hit on our gear, and we probably didn’t get enough hit on off-set pieces to compensate).

Here’s the tier 11 druid models. Not going to lie, they look pretty cool, not gaudy like most of our sets.

Stormrider’s Regalia:
2PC Bonus: Increases the critical strike of Insect Swarm and Moonfire by 5%.

4PC Bonus: Whenever Eclipse triggers, your critical strike chance with spells is increased by 99% for 8 sec. Each critical strike you achieve reduces that bonus by 33%.

The tier 11 bonuses have been released.  While early tier gear never has spectacular bonuses, I feel slightly underwhelmed by these.

• Balance 2P Bonus – Increases the critical strike chance of your Insect Swarm and Moonfire spells by 5%. / Instant
• Balance 4P Bonus – Whenever Eclipse triggers, your critical strike chance with spells is increased by 99% for 8 sec. Each critical strike you achieve reduces that bonus by 33%. / Instant

The 5% crit bonus has always been an early bonus for us, although I think I’d rather have it be on Starfire and Wrath like the early Wrath bonuses.  I’m not convinced our DoTs are going to be that worthwhile.

As for the 4 piece bonus, it’s basically giving us 1-2 free crits.  Um… yay?
