Languish: How it works, and it’s problems.

Note: I’ve edited this post a bit since I’ve had time to sleep and actually think clearly, along with information given by commenters.
There’s been some questions on the forums regarding [Languish], and concerns over an apparent bug if you crit back to back within 2.0sec of each other, the Languish dot will never tick. Languish will refresh, and the damage of Languish will roll, just like ignite, but you won’t be getting a rolling dot while you keep refreshing >2.0 seconds. I’m not sure if this “feature” is the same for mages with Ignite, but I’m assuming the mechanic is the same.
Omen of Doom, movement fights, and the expensive solution

Ever notice how [Gift of the Wild] seems to ALWAYS proc [Clearcasting] when buffing a 25man raid?
One extremely unconventional, yet significant method to increase your DPS on those movement heavy fights (where our DPS is usually pretty low), is to add in Gift of the Wild to your DPS rotation. This will usually always proc Clearcasting, thus also proccing [Omen of Doom]. Throwing up a GoTW, then refreshing dots, and potentially GoTWing again, and returning to Wrath, seems to be a considerable boost to DPS. Especially if you can proc Lunar Eclipse quick enough, and extend that Moonfire roll via the [Glyph of Starfire]. It’s hard to tell how this proc will affect the rolling damage from 4PC T10 as well.
Take out a small loan and make some bag room for [Wild Spineleaf]!
