As we’re approaching the 5th anniversary of World of Warcraft (November 23rd), the festivities have begun to ramp up in game.  It looks lke the European servers have the Onyxian Whelpling already, and we should get it when the day turns over.  I’ll post a picture of mine as soon as I get it!

We went in and one-shot Onyxia tonight, although that’s not really any big achievement.  The fight is pretty much the same with the addition of guards which spawn in phase 2 and do an AoE pulse (albeit on a long cast time).  There seems to be a LOT more whelps, though.  (I was doing 28k/tic with hurricane).  I did manage to win [Enlarged Onyxia Hide Backpack] and [Head of Onyxia], which I exchanged for [Polished Dragonslayer's Signet].

According to MMO Champion, 3.2.2 is going live this week. I’m currently at work so I’m unable to start downloading the patch yet.

There isn’t that many highlights for balance druids in 3.2.2, although there were a few PVP buffs:

[Typhoon] daze duration increased from 3 seconds to 6 seconds.

[Glyph of Typhoon] now increases Typhoon’s range by 10 yards in addition to it’s current effects.

You will now receive 15% less damage while stunned while in [Moonkin Form].

I’m not really a moonkin arena type, so I look forward to your comments on the PVP changes!

And, last but not least..

Onyxia has returned! I’m looking forward to wearing upgraded moose antlers!
