Druid Challenge Mode Gear Model Released!

MMO-Champion has a video for the Druid Challenge Mode gear, and I’m pretty impressed. Not only does it have some neat effects, but casting spells adds additional animation.

Praise the Loot Gods

The loot gods smiled at me tonight in Trial of the Crusader, and I was able to pick up [item]47422[/item], and then by virtue of being the only druid in the raid, I picked up [item]47438[/item]. I think this puts me at 9 slots BiS towards my T8/T9 BiS list. I’m hoping for [item]47469[/item] next. The non-leather pieces, (ring, cloak, trinkets) are going to be the hardest to pick up.

A Tier Dilemma

One of the biggest problems with imba tier bonuses is that parting is such a sweet sorrow. The 4-piece tier 5 bonus comes to mind ([spell]37327[/spell]). Another is the 2-piece tier 8 ([spell]64818[/spell]). The “simplified” set bonuses, as Blizzard has referred to Tier 9 as such, have given me a dilemma on which gear I want to shoot for. While I like the instant double starfire crit / pull agro / die effect the 4pc T8 bonus brings ([spell]64824[/spell]), I think it’s a safe bet to say the 2pc tier 9 bonuses is far superior. ([spell]67125[/spell]). The next decision is whether to break the 2pc Tier 8 bonus. Graylo has written an excellent post here detailing the number break down between 2pc T8 and the T9. His math shows it’s tier 9 4pc is not a viable option until you get 4 pieces of heroic gear. I guess Nightsong and I are going to be sticking around for awhile.

: Wait, what you just said doesn't make sense. What makes us go straight to 20 energy? With SotF it takes 2 casts to reach lunar. 2 casts to reach solar. Without SotF it takes 3, correct me if i'm wrong.

Im not one of those guys who go out and get the best pve/pvp gear But i really need some help..... im a resto balance mix and well my hits are only doing about 5K at lvl 60 :/ what sohuld i do?
