While I won’t be at BlizzCon, I will be watching the LiveStream and I’ll be tweeting and covering all changes that could possibly affect balance druids in the new expansion. Expect a talent overhaul! Make sure you follow and participate @SunfyresNest on Twitter.
BlizzCon is upon us. If you couldn’t make it, you can join me watching the virtual stream. If anything breaking is announced, I’ll be sure to report it!
It seems the new Moonkin companion pet will be a charitable pet like the Pandaren Monk.
In honor of Sunfyre’s Nest turning 1 year old on September 6th, and with Halloween and BlizzCon looming a little over a month away, I’d like to announce the 1st Annual Sunfyre’s Nest Halloween/BlizzCon Costume Contest!
The contest is simple. I will be giving away a 2010 BlizzCon Virtual Ticket to whoever is voted to have created the BEST Moonkin Costume! Simply design a costume, put it on (yes you MUST it on!), and hold up some sort of sign stating “Sunfyre’s Nest”, and email it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be accepting all submissions through October 8th. From October 9th-15th, I will be posting all submissions for vote, and the winner will be awarded a Virtual BlizzCon ticket (and Deathy the Murloc!). Good luck!
Here’s some inspiration, ala Solar and Lunar Moonkin:
Since I took a hiatus, counts have been a little low.. I’m thinking of maybe giving away a virtual BlizzCon ticket as a small surprise sometime in the next few weeks….
It’s that time year again. Online ordering for BlizzCon 2010 “virtual tickets” is available, and it looks like this year Grunty has a new friend, “Deathy” is a murloc dressed up as Deathwing. There will also be a Murloc Marine character portrait and Terran, Zerg, and Protoss decals specific to BlizzCon.

I opened up my e-mail this morning to receive a surprise.
While [spell]66030[/spell] isn’t exactly a mount, I do have to admit he’s a pretty cool non-combat pet.
