Glyph of the Stars: FAQ

by on Mar.21, 2012, under Mists of Pandaria

This is the information so far that I have on Glyph of the Stars (thanks to Lissanna at Restokin, who credits WoW Insider with the tooltip):

“Transforms your Moonkin Form into Astral Form. This glyph essentially makes your character appear as a spirit instead of a moonkin. You look very nearly like you do while dead — but people can see you this time. And your armor, for that matter.”

I’m super excited, although I also wish they’d re-tool Moonkin form.  It seems like it was just a punt to give us something new without taking real time and effort to give us a new model update.

What are your thoughts?

And yes –two posts in two days, I will be posting quite a bit more as MoP information comes out.  Tell all of your owl friends!

Frankly I’m disappointed with this glyph. I have been crossing my fingers for a model update ever since I saw how presumably easy it would be for them to implement, given they did so for the Tuskarr as a mere April Fool’s joke.
I can’t say I’m surprised though. There was bound to be a glyph that let us see our armor after the spriest one was released, I was just hoping the 15% static damage reduction was where they would stop changing boomkin form into a walking replica of shadowform. It violates the druid way.
