Moongasm: MoP Druid Changes

by on Mar.20, 2012, under Mists of Pandaria

Now that the NDA has been lifted for the Mists of Pandaria Press event, a whole host of information is coming out.  Here’s some of the druid changes.

  • A new minor glyph that allow druids to have a random coloring in cat and bear form has been added.
  • A new minor glyph that allow druids to stay in tree form has been added.
  • A new minor glyph that changes a druid’s aquatic form into a Orca has been added.
  • A new minor glyph that changes a druid’s travel form into a white stag has been added. Other players can ride you while in this form.
  • A new minor glyph that changes a druid’s moonkin form into a moonkin spirit has been added.

Moonkin spirit?!  Can it be?!  I don’t have to be a fat owl in Mists of Pandaria?!

What are your thoughts?

Glyph of stars is this (from WoWinsider):

“Glyph of Stars:Transforms your Moonkin Form into Astral Form. This glyph essentially makes your character appear as a spirit instead of a moonkin. You look very nearly like you do while dead — but people can see you this time. And your armor, for that matter.”

The MMO-champion one is worded wrong because it should say “changes moonkin form into a humanoid spirit form”.

If a pure humanoid (NElf, Tauren, Troll, Worgen…wtver) glowing like a Twilight character, rather stay chicken.
If something like Algalon, something to think about it.
A humanoid with antlers and wings like Malfurion, same model shared for all as works on demon form for Locks, definitely going for.

Be still, my heart! I will be a spirit cow slinging moonbeams until the…uh…other cows come home.

I’m more excited by that than any other news I’ve read save the LFR loot roll changes.

Kaelluss, it’s not a new model. It’s a spell effect applied to your humanoid form (similar to how shadow form works, though they should look different).
