Special edition:  Two part Gripe of the Week!

First off, if you’ve been following me on Twitter, you’d know I’ve been leveling a warlock.  (The post Shattering level changes are pretty amazing, and leveling is both easy and fun).  One of the neat talents that a Destruction Warlock has is [spell]34939[/spell].  Basically you have a chance on melee strike to proc an instant shadow bolt or incinerate.  Neat, right?

Here’s the even NEATER part.  If this procs while you are casting shadow bolt, the current shadow bolt does NOT consume it!  Awesome!  Now why can’t they do that for [spell]93399[/spell]?

Also, I’ve been all excited and as soon as I saw Lissanna re-tweet that the [item]68619[/item] was available on the US Blizzard Store, I hopped on over there and bought my own little moonkin.  Here’s the problem.  It’s my “time of the month”.  That’s right.  11/29 happens to be my “renewal day”, and in the eyes of Battle.net, my account is “Pending” and not “Active”, which prevents me from doing basically any sort of account maintenance, which includes adding a digital item!  I have to wait until Blizzard actually renews my subscription automatically tomorrow for my account to be “Active” again, and add my (already paid for) Moonkin Hatchling!

What is your highest post 4.0.3a Starsurge crit?  Also, note if it was on a buffed target (such as Blood Queen, etc).

My highest standard starsurge crit was 69.8k against Deathbringer Saurfang this week.

There’s currently a bug or a “feature” that prevents mounting directly from moonkin form.

To circumvent this, a simple macro may be used.  Here’s the one I use:

“The current design has been reconsidered, so we’re planning to revert gems that now require more blue than red gems back to their original requirements. Such a change can’t be accomplished via a hotfix though, so we’ll have to wait to revert these in a future patch.“

While the other changes I announced did not make the patch notes (they were in previous beta builds that got rolled into 4.0.3a), the following change was made to the 4pc PVP set.

• PvP set bonus redesigned. While not in an Eclipse state, critical attacks against the druid restore 5 Solar or 7 Lunar energy, whichever is more beneficial. This effect can only occur once every 6 seconds.

I must admit I’m a bit underwhelmed.  5 Solar or 7 Lunar energy every 6 seconds?  That’s really not enough.

Personally, they need to somehow make a glyph, or an ability, that allows you to instantly proc an Eclipse.  Give it .. say, a 3 minute cooldown.  Even a 5 minute cooldown.  You just need it once in arena.

Also, give me threat reduction on barkskin.  Thanks.

***If you plan on obtaining the Faded Wizard Hat, and you plan on race changing, make sure you race change first.  When I race changed from Troll to Tauren, (and then back to Troll), I lost the Faded Wizard Hat.  Most likely because it was a Quest Item***.
