Finally, Anub’arak.

After my second week in Seriously Casual, they allowed me in on their Anub’arak kill. I’ll post some strats on it shortly, and hopefully sometime soon a video. Notice, like most other balance druids, my DPS is bottom of the barrel. (They had me Hurricane the adds.)

Latest on Thu, 09:38 pm: They just updated the 4pc T13 again. 10% Bonus damage and 5 seconds reduced CD.
: Btw, it's not worth it to acctually refresh your dot when it proc...just play as if it's a normal weap... The 2,5 sec you loose refreshing your dot could have been used to get more eclipse utpime and thus benefiting from Nature's grace, which is more important.
: It pretty much averages out to 300 haste all the time, which isnt bad, but you're right it's hard to predict when it'll proc and casting dots accordingly. I feel the extra haste to the raid is worth it though.

id suggest redoing ur spec then sunfyre if u dont wanna seem bad on that fight. call of dusk got it down last week and i pulled 8k with a good spec and assortment of gear. we also got madskills this week , hurray us !

Congratulations on RNG. How would I ‘redo my spec’ to do additional dps on Anub’arak? Look at the parses from guilds like Paragon. Their moonkin is always bottom of the barrel.

well didnt know you were aoe spec at first, i see it now. but i also said assortment of gear. I actually put on the 4 peice because you hardly get through a one sided eclipse rotation. I also put on some pretty high haste gear to make hurricane go through faster. As always sunfyre your comparing to a top guild moonkin when you can just do better yourself ~

The difference between 7.1k DPS and 8k DPS can easily be RNG. I’ve done between 5k DPS and 8k DPS on the same fight, just based on RNG. Either way, 8k, or 7k, it’s still insanely low compared to other classes in that fight. I don’t think any of our DPS on our parse was that amazing, compared to what I’ve seen rogues/mages potentially do.
